and spring break Ends..
Spring break is over pretty much..
Yesterday went to Wal-mart with Paulinna. Today went to the library then the mall with Paulinna. Other than that, I've done nothing. It has been a pretty unproductive break. I've been thinking what I should do this summer. I knew I would be taking summer classes but now the option of staying in Norman has been brought up to me. I might be taking a summer class at OU or two, because I have to. I also might get a job and I should get it in Norman so I won't have to quit in like 2 months or something. The thing is I really want to stay in Mustang for the summer. Oh well, I'll see how it goes... Oh darn.. school is coming again. Ugh.... I will apply at Starbucks for a job.. then get advised.. bleh

and Spring Break begins
Spring break has been pretty good. Sunday I went out with my parents. We went to the mall and shopping around. We went to Office Depot and bout a new internet router thingy. I saw this laptop for a pretty good deal and my parents bought it for me.
It doesn't really seem that easy how they bought it for me. They promised me one for my birthday then that passed by then they promised me for Christmas but it is cool. My parents have also been wanting my old one so that my brother can teach them how to use it to watch phim tau and check email and stuff. It is also for my brother because he is pretty lazy and doesn't want to use the desktop but wants to lay in bed all day.
I also found out my brother received a new mp3 player for his birthday last weekend. It is a Samsung k9 something or something. It is pretty nice. It is touch screen and has a radio. I kind of want one but it's cool.
Yesterday I went to the bank for my parents and then went to play basketball at the Huff. Tiep took me home. Later some guys asked me to go eat with them at Golden Palace but I already ate and don't feel like sitting and watching people eat. Afterwards I was on the laptop and waited for parents to come home and have dinner.
I've been on my new laptop a lot because its faster and stuff. i can play games without lag. Too bad I can't afford WoW subscription. My laptop is still considerably slow thanks to F'ing Windows Vista and all the bullshiet applications it comes with. I was hoping to get Photoshop so I can play around with it during break but I don't know what the difference between Elements 6.0 and CS3 is.
That is pretty much all I've done so far this break. I also can't stop thinking about skydiving. I wonder when I will feel something like that ever again. When will I get to experience something complete different, so exciting, and all these words I don't know. I'll update later if anything happens. I'm waiting for Paulinna to come home soon hopefully so I can hang out with her. Well, goodbye and thanks for reading! Hope everyone is having a great break so far!
EDIT// I forgot to mention about Leona Lewis. I love her and her song 'Bleeding Love'. She's so beautiful and her eyes are so... WOW.

and the TAIKOS descend from heaven
Sunday watched asian basketball league.
Tuesday failed ZOO test. Had Pole Position event. It was fun.
Wednesday "studied" for Ancient Near East exam. I know I did well on the in-class portion =p. There was a mixer with aKDphi pledges I missed.
Thursday was Taiko Olympics: Soccer. It was my event and it was a success although I didn't do much. I had fun and from what I heard the others did, too.
Friday just had class and stuff. We volunteered at YMCA. We stuffed Easter eggs with candy. Afterwards, I hung out with Tiep and his friends. Long was there, too. We had good steak and stuff. He also cut my hair. He took me to The Commons afterwards to hang out with Phi Dee girls. We played Taboo. The guys went to DEPsi place at Campus Lodge after that to play some drinking games and then play basketball. Spent the night at CT's that night
Saturday we woke up early then went to Cushing. The weather was cloudy and we were doubting we could jump. The morning was cold as some of us were playing Scrabble, Taboo, Catchphrase and other stuff like hacky sack. We ate at KFC for lunch and then waited at the place. I later found out I would be the first Iota to jump and that I would be jumping with someone I didn't know, instead with my brothers. I was a little nervous but I received a lot of support. I really enjoyed the cheering and all the attention. I got to know the girl I was jumping with and it was real cool. So I would be the first Iota to fully crossover and I was the first at Tama, also.
So we got on the plane and it was alright. We were moving and it became shaky. I wasn't really nervous anymore. I was getting comfortable with the guy in there and the girl i was jumping with. I barely noticed that we lifted off. Everything was easy until the door was o;en. The wind was really strong. I stuck out my legs and put my left foot on the step and then my right foot. I made sure he had my pilot chute. I grabbed on the wing and climbed to the other end. I didn't notice much but I knew i held on pretty tight and that i was looking into the guy's eyes. He let me know that I could let go and then I did. The free fall part was pretty cool. It's that falling feeling that you probably won't have anywhere else doing anything else. The parachute came out and I was relieved. I just relaxed and looked at the view. I followed the easy instructions and landed. I didnt flare it right so i bounced on my feet and then fell.
Later that day i just watched everyone jump. Everyone did well.. glad everyone is safe. We finally jumped guys! Thanks to everyone that came out and supported us!

TAIKO!!
I had a lot of fun this past weekend. Last week was pretty good. I don't think I've felt that productive in a long time.
Friday night I went to the casino with some of the guys and then went to CT's place. A lot of us were getting ready for Founders' Day, especially the entertainment group. I didn't do much but do candle stuff. Afterwards, most of us headed over to Trung's to hang out with Taiko alumni and friends.
There were Taikos, alumni, DEPsi bros, and DPO girls that came over. The night was full of mainly poker for me. I played with Tim's money but I lost it all due to a stupid all-in even though I shouldn't let people influence me, especially Binh.
Julie called me and texted me later that night because Ti hasn't been picking up so I told him and because of that, he left me his chips and splashed the pot. I played with his chips the rest of the night/morning. We played until 6:45 am. I played really tight that night due very loose/crazy people like Joel and Stanley and others until I did the stupid all-in. When there were only like 5 of us, I actually got to play poker the way I wanted.
I headed over to CT's with Tim and Hieu after poker. Most of the guys were sleeping. BJ and CT were working on the video. I stayed up for a bit and headed to sleep because I was planning to play basketball at 10 am. So I had like a 3 hour sleep. I remember CT eating cereal and I was really cold sleeping on the floor with Hieu and Ti.
We went to play basketball at the Huff a little after 10. Okay, maybe like 20 or 30 min after 10. We (the actives/chapter members) lost to alumni. We thought we would win but we were wrong. Paul is crazy!
I went home afterwards because parents were a little pissed because I haven't been home and I needed to go home and do stuff. I went home cleaned up the hosue kind of and then slept. I woke up at 5:20 to get ready for Founders' Day. I picked up Paulinna and then we were off to Marriott on N.W. Expressway.
We arrived at Marriott and I saw Steven Tam and the beta colony guys. We arrived at the ball room. There were so many Taikos in one place! I introduced myself to most of the alumni I didn't know. There was a lot of socializing and such. It is kind of hard trying to entertain my date Paulinna and getting out to know people. I tried my best introducing her to the people I know.
I don't want to get into details about Founders' Day, but i do have to say it was awesome. Mitra was a great MC, we had great speeches, the entertainment was awesome. Props to the entertainment committee making the video. Tony did a great job on the slideshow. It was also a historic moment in Taiko history because all 20 members of Alpha Chapter received the award for the principle of Harmony. It was a great moment and grand surprise!
The night ended with a lot of picture-taking. There were lineage pictures, class pictures, and pictures with different organizations. People left to after-parties and such. I left to go home at about 11ish or 12ish, I don't even remember. I took Paulinna home and then I went home to sleep.
Today is going to be my brother's birthday party although yesterday (saturday) was his birthday. I'm glad his party is today otherwise I would feel bad for not being at his party most of the time. Well, I have couple tests coming up this following week. Hopefully I do well on them. There are also some events this following week. Next Saturday will be the great day that the Iota monkeys are jumping. Hopefully people will be out there to watch, but most importantly, hopefully I will land safely.
BIG PROPS to Adam organizing such an awesome Founders' Day, making my first Founders' Day so memorable. I am so proud to be a Taiko.

put you to BED
nothing much I can remember. I didn't go back to Mustang this weekend. I'm sad.. oh well.
I went to Phi Delta Alpha date auction at UCO. Tim and I were questioned by a cop for something.. We ate at Cafe de Taipei later that day.
Friday had a Tau Kappa Omega thing. We ate at Olive Garden. It was nice. We played some poker later that night. I went to Jason's/Danny's place to see some people get wasted.
Saturday night hung out with Charlie. We went to work out with BJ. We went to BED later that night. There were plenty of girls there. It was pretty fun. It could have been better if there were more people that I knew were there. It was funny seeing BC being drunk again.
Now I am sitting in my room.. I am hungry.. Founders' Day is next Saturday. So much to do..
